What is the Aga Cup?
A hydrogel cup placed over a tissue sample in the petri dish. The tissue sample is immobilized; medium diffuses from the inner well through the hydrogel to the tissue sample.
For which tissue samples is the Aga Cup suitable?
It is intended for evaluation with tissue samples, explants and tissue sections — especially where immobilization and medium access need control.
What materials are used?
The Aga Cup is made from a biocompatible hydrogel without animal-derived components. Material and biocompatibility context are provided on request for the specific application.
How does the Aga Cup differ from Matrigel?
Matrigel is a biochemically active matrix with complex composition. The Aga Cup works physically: defined hydrogel geometry, immobilization and diffusion.
Are culture protocols available?
Application-specific protocols are provided on request as part of Aga Cup coordination. Thom-Med can share protocol context based on your tissue sample and workflow.
How do I request Aga Cups?
Aga Cups can be requested via the contact form. Briefly describe your tissue sample, institution, and application context. Thom-Med will respond with availability and shipping coordination.
Is the Aga Cup CE-certified?
The Aga Cup is currently in the development and testing phase for research use. Information on regulatory status can be provided on request.
What documentation is available?
Technical data sheet, culture protocol, and biocompatibility context are available on request. They are provided as part of Aga Cup coordination.
